will be returning in the Autumn. I will be publishing an extremely competitive range of Advertising rates on this page. I'm genuinely sorry but there will be no free advertising on this site.
Q. Why advertise on Penicuik Whats On
A. Go to Google search engine & type in the word Penicuik. PWO is 3rd in the list. Businesses have to pay Google to get that high up on the search list. PWO has gained that through sheer popularity. So by advertising on PWO you are putting your Business in the Top Three hits for the Penicuik Area.
Q Will you link my Business site to your site?
A. Yes I will link directly to your website if you have one. We can link by various means;
1. By a Web Banner (you can supply OR I can design (for an additional fee, but you will own it afterwards & can use it for other sites).
2. A straight text link to your website. i.e. click on the text & it will go straight to your site
Q I don't actually have a website. Can I still advertise on the site
A. Of course you can I'll be publishing a full range of Adverting prices which will include this.
Q. I don't have a Business Banner, can you make one
A. Yes we can design something together. Of course you will be charged for this. BUT once we have designed it & agreed to the design. After payment it will be your banner to use where ever you like. You will own the copyright etc
Q. I'd actually like to have a website of my own, do you build websites for people.
A. Yes I can build websites for people. However it should be known;
1. I'm NOT an accredited web designer. I'm an enthusiastic amateur
2. You will have to buy the software (Adobe Dreamweaver) it's not cheap BUT it's the best you can get. Don't waste your time on cheap alternatives. Dreamweaver is one of the best web design packages you can get.
3. BUT I'll teach you how to update pages yourself. Many web design companies charge you to do simple updates. I'll show you how to do it yourself. Saving you hundreds of pounds!!!
4. However if you do want me to update your site you'll be charged at a proper business rate.
5. If you need help on anything once your site has been created for you. Again you will be charged. it will be on an hourly rate, with a minimum of 1 hour payment.
